From Our Family to Yours: About Schlachter Maine Coon in Alberta
Located near Legal, Alberta (just north of Edmonton), our purebred Maine Coon kittens are a central part of our daily family life. With the active help of our children, every kitten receives hands-on socialization, growing accustomed to everyday household sounds and gently handling. We take immense pride in ensuring our "living room lions" are confident, friendly, and fully prepared for a smooth transition into your home.
Owner
Paige Schlachter
With a background as a veterinary technologist and 8 years of experience in the animal field, my love for animals has always been a focal point in my life. I started this cattery when my son Izik was born, allowing me to continue working with animals while being a stay at home mom.
Owner
Josh Schlachter
My husband Josh has been my support through every step of this journey, ensuring that our cattery runs smoothly. He is not only passionate about our Maine Coons but also enjoys lending his helping hand with any building needs we have.
Socialization Specialist
Izik Schlachter
My 5 year old Izik was there from day one of the cattery, he has grown up with each of our kittens. Izik is always excited for new litters to be born and is incredibly gentle with them.
Socialization Specialist
Fenik Schlachter
My almost 2-year-old son Fenik has grown up alongside our kittens. He loves to help me brush them, and giggles as he chases them and throws spring toys during playtime.
