" My first Maine Coon was very skittish, we realized quickly that he hadn't been socialized very well. So when we decided to get him a partner we specifically based our research on catteries with socialization practices. It was really important that our next kitten be socialized with children, dogs, other cats, and noises such as a vacuum cleaner. Our next Maine Coon Chewbacca came from Schlachter Maine Coon and he is such a handsome smoked boy. Chewbacca is so chilled out and is a great addition to our family of cats. Chewi has also fit in beautifully with our camping family that includes our friends 3 dogs and two more cats. We couldn't be happier with our choice of getting a Maine Coon from Schlachter Maine Coon. Fred

" Freddy (formerly Yoshi) joined my little family last year. There were so many suspicious breeders and I almost gave up my search until I stumbled upon Schlachter Maine Coon. I saw their Instagram page was tagged in other peopled posts about their Maine Coons and knew I finally found a trustworthy cattery.

Paige was so patient with all my questions way before I made reservations for Freddy. I was travelling abroad while I was making arrangements for Yoshi and she accommodated my requests for updates and patiently answered my inquiries.

I had to drive up to Edmonton to pick up Freddy and Paige accommodated all my meet up requests with no complaints. She was very friendly and made sure I had everything i needed for little Fred. While Fred was settling at his new home, Paige checked in on him and promptly answered questions from Fred's new vet.

Fred is very well behaved and took very little time to warm up to his new brother Rory. Fred is very curious about everything (except vacuum cleaners haha!) and he loves and wants to play with everyone he meets. I could tell he is from a loving and warm environment.

I will forever be grateful for Schlachter Maine Coon/Paige for Freddy. I have been following Schlachter Maine Coon since then and they will be my go-to recommendation for anyone who is looking for a snuggly and well-behaved Maine Coon. "
